REQUEST FUNDING

Valor RVA accepts funding requests sanctioned by the Chief of the department for the following:

 

1. To provide financial assistance to dependents of a First Responder who was killed or has been permanently disabled in the Line of Duty. ​​

2. To assist with the payment of expenses associated with the funeral process for a deceased First  Responder.

3. To assist with the payment of living or medical expenses pending the receipt of insurance and other benefit payments.

4.  To assist with wellness and mental health training in order to identify, manage and address work related struggles and promote well being. 

5. To fund Safety Enhancement Stipends for safety training and equipment.

6. To assist in any other manner deemed appropriate and approved by the Board of Directors.
